Join us for Sally Lisle’s Alpine Stories Winter Series talk ‘The Doubts, dedication and Drama’ when she will share stories of her expedition to put up an adventurous 350m 5.11d (optional 5.12b) bolted route named “Eterno Optimista”. She unfolds how to start new routing and explores the drive behind it.  She’ll share the excitement to be found in exploring somewhere no one has been before, the physical challenge and both the pressure and merit in having to make all of the decisions within your team. 

Sally Lisle, owner of Far Out Pursuits, strives to use the outdoors to inspire everyone she meets to achieve their goals. Based in North Wales, she uses the mountain environment to push herself and is filled with the joy that comes from the tight bonds that form in climbing partnerships.
