Our Guide Tania Noakes is proposing a Sardinian Rock Climbing Festival based from the local camping site in Cala Gonone
Many of the best crags in Cala Gonone are accessible by foot from the town, or by a short boat journey (@15€ one way) to the stunning beach of Cala Luna.
For climbing options further afield in Dorgali or in the Oddoene or Lanaitho valley it is hoped we can organise centralised transport by local companies to eliminate the need to have your own hire car for the week.
Tented camping is available and there are excellent bungalow accommodation sites there too.
Of course there are also self catered apartments for those with a slightly higher budget.

For securing your place on the climbing meet, a non-refundable deposit of 50€ is required.
The climbing around Cala Gonone is mostly sport climbing, with a mix of grades to suit all ability levels.
The meet is designed for rock climbers with prior experience of sport climbing, and the skills to tie in safely, belay, lead climb sport and thread the anchor of a sport climb without requiring supervision.
For those requiring instruction, then instruction at the start of the week will be available from a qualified IFMGA guide at additional cost. Group sessions will be organised at ratio 1:6 at the start of the week and then optional multi-pitch guiding days are also possible at 1:2 later in the week.
