Summer Meet 2019: Ecrins

Our first ever meet took place this summer in the Ecrins National Park in France. Staying in a remote mountain refuge, all to ourselves.

We practiced yoga, scaled loo blocks (yes loo blocks) to learn essential self-rescue skills, climbed mountains, multi-pitch routes and single pitch routes.

Some women led their first climbs and even summited peaks having never even been in crampons before. Our female guides were awesome instructors and shared their incredible adventures with us.

But most of all, we made fantastic life-long adventure friends, in a beautiful place and shared some memories we’ll never forget.

Here’s to more alpine adventures and the start of a great club, this is just the beginning!!
